SCROLL DOWN

The Next step prep

Our Mission is simple.

The Next Step Prep offers short term programs aimed at high school or college graduates. Our professionally licensed and experienced staff composed of Speech Language Pathologists and Secondary Special Education Teachers will meet with students in a group and on an individual basis weekly for eight or nine weeks. Staff and high school graduate students will be discussing how to get support in college and how to problem solve specific college level issues i.e. how to talk to professors, roommates, advisors, meeting deadlines, etc. Staff and work force focused students will discuss how to interview and obtain a job, how to live independently, create goals and determine a means to meet those goals, and how to problem solve specific work force issues i.e. how to talk to a boss, roommates etc. Students and their parents/guardians will create collaborative goals in a variety of areas pertaining to their Next Step as well as discuss strategies to meet these goals.
